Overfly Forum ’23 exceeded all expectations. We couldn’t be happier\u2014we still can’t believe it. <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

There are few things more satisfying than savoring the achievements that come from hard work. When you devote your entire life to getting to know yourself, following your instincts, and trusting the people around you, it\u2019s impossible not to feel fulfilled\u2014especially when success comes along with it. <\/p>\n

We imagine that this is something like what Jaime \u00c1lava, our president, might be feeling right now. Fifty years after the founding of his \u201csmall company,\u201d Grupo \u00c1lava has established itself in the market as a major driver of change in Spain, Portugal, and the United States. A career dedicated to the digital transformation of national and international companies, in collaboration with world-leading technology partners<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Here’s How Overfly Forum ’23 Went<\/strong><\/h4>\n

On June 21 and 22, Grupo \u00c1lava held an event to celebrate its 50th anniversary: Overfly Forum’23<\/strong><\/a>. Since this is such an important milestone for us\u2014 one that will mark a turning point in our history\u2014<\/em> Cristina Gonz\u00e1lez (Director of the Sensors and Equipment Business Unit) and I wanted to celebrate it with everyone who has been with us throughout this journey. It is thanks to them that today we are the only Spanish company in the world with more than 1,000 completed projects across 13 different industries, with revenue of 60 mill \u20ac and an average annual growth rate of 10% over the past 5 years.<\/strong> The synergy among the five companies that make up the group covers all the needs of the industrial market. We are very pleased to say that Overfly Forum \u201923 exceeded each and every expectation\u2014even our own. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

“We knew we could do it, and we did”<\/em> \u2014 Yago S\u00e1nchez (Alliance Development). What we didn’t know was how it would make us feel. Now we feel a deep admiration for the company we belong to, and we understand that every piece of the puzzle is essential for everything to work. From clients and partners to employees and other organizations\u2014all of whom, interestingly, share the same goal: to provide society with tools that can make everyday life easier. <\/p>\n

How did we do it?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Thanks to the wide variety of technology partners working alongside us, we were able to organize the event around four thematic areas: Smart Industry, Smart Cities, Smart Energy, and Innovation Corner. Each area featured exhibition space and high-level conferences. With more than 70 presentations, 28 exhibitors, and an amazing team behind the scenes, the event was a resounding success. <\/p>\n
