The goal is to make the country the undisputed leader in the sustainable mobility sector. <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The aim of this initiative is to focus on decarbonizing the sector, where hydrogen and electricity will play a key role. It also aims to advance the technology behind autonomous vehicles, develop electronic vehicle platforms, and promote mobility as a service. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Grupo \u00c1lava (Preditec) will carry out a primary project within the framework of process innovation initiatives. The<strong> digitization plan involves <\/strong>creating an <strong>IoT platform<\/strong> for automotive manufacturing chains to enable <strong>better asset management and maintenance.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This PERTE has been launched thanks to the collaboration of the innovation consulting firm <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zabala.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Zabala Innovation<\/a>, with an implementation period running through June 30, 2025.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the words of Jos\u00e9 Fern\u00e1ndez-Diez, executive vice president of Grupo \u00c1lava:<em>\u201cThis is a very exciting project for all of us, because it allows us to lead the shift toward more sustainable, autonomous, and connected mobility. It will enable us, as a country, to remain leaders in the automotive sector and reaffirm the trust that the market and society itself have placed in our Group\u2019s half-century of experience<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seventy percent of this group of companies consists of SMEs, representing 10 of the country\u2019s autonomous communities. These companies reflect a broad ecosystem of industries and technologies. These include high-tech companies, such as Preditec (\u00c1lava Group), as well as companies in the clean energy, circular economy, services, and vehicle, component, and battery manufacturing sectors. They are joined by universities and technology centers.   <\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-heading stk-block-heading stk-block stk-d169450\" data-block-id=\"d169450\"><h6 class=\"stk-block-heading__text\">About Preditec<\/h6><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Preditec, a company of the \u00c1lava Group, offers predictive maintenance (PdM) or condition-based maintenance services, machinery diagnostics, and training in predictive techniques to increase reliability in industrial plants (RCM). In addition, it provides sensors and monitoring systems based on portable vibration sensors and continuous monitoring (Condition Monitoring Systems).
