{"id":66551,"date":"2021-10-25T13:39:57","date_gmt":"2021-10-25T11:39:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/grupoalava.rearmachine.com\/european-lidar-conference-elc-2021\/"},"modified":"2026-06-23T16:41:17","modified_gmt":"2026-06-23T14:41:17","slug":"european-lidar-conference-elc-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/grupoalava.rearmachine.com\/en\/european-lidar-conference-elc-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"European Lidar Conference (ELC) 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Grupo \u00c1lava will participate in the third edition of the <a href=\"https:\/\/granada-en.congresoseci.com\/elc2021\/index\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">European Lidar Conference (ELC)<\/a>, which will take place from the 16th to the 18th in Granada, Spain, hosted by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ugr.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">University of Granada<\/a>, in a hybrid format.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is a forum where all European groups active in lidar research come together to network, establish new collaborations, and exchange ideas, thereby enriching their knowledge and creating synergies that lead to improvements in the efficiency and quality of their processes.<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/grupoalava.rearmachine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2021\/10\/elc20211-1024x683.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16925\" width=\"530\" height=\"354\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our colleague from <a href=\"https:\/\/grupoalava.rearmachine.com\/en\/engineers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u00c1lava Ingenieros<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/enrique-latorre-tarrasa-247b442a\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Enrique Latorre<\/a>, will be at Booth 6 with a Micro Pulse LiDAR (MPL) model from our partner <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dropletmeasurement.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Droplet<\/a>, which improves weather forecasts, monitors air quality, and enhances air traffic control safety. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dropletmeasurement.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Droplet<\/a> is a trusted provider of remote atmospheric monitoring. This sophisticated laser remote sensing system provides real-time data and uses the most advanced single-photon detectors, the same ones trusted by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nasa.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NASA<\/a>.
