We would like to extend our special thanks to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ign.es\/web\/ign\/portal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the National Geographic Institute (IGN)<\/a> for providing us with all the information and images. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For their studies, they use high-precision thermal imaging cameras from Teledyne FLIR, technology supplied by <a href=\"https:\/\/grupoalava.rearmachine.com\/en\/engineers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u00c1lava Ingenieros<\/a>. It will also be used to calculate heat flux and thermal energy emissions, as well as the volume of material emitted. This data is of great importance for research and highlights the danger present in nearby areas since, as can be seen, the temperature exceeds 400\u00b0C at some points.  <\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-ugb-columns ugb-columns ugb-fbb36e5 ugb-columns--design-plain ugb-columns--columns-2 ugb-main-block\"><div class=\"ugb-inner-block\"><div class=\"ugb-block-content\"><div class=\"ugb-columns__item ugb-fbb36e5-content-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-ugb-column ugb-column ugb-837a8b2 ugb-column--design-plain ugb-main-block\"><div class=\"ugb-inner-block\"><div class=\"ugb-block-content\"><div class=\"ugb-column__item ugb-837a8b2-column-wrapper\"><div class=\"ugb-column__content-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/grupoalava.rearmachine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2021\/09\/volcanpalma-2-edited.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16666\" width=\"404\" height=\"303\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-ugb-column ugb-column ugb-32d7f34 ugb-column--design-plain ugb-main-block\"><div class=\"ugb-inner-block\"><div class=\"ugb-block-content\"><div class=\"ugb-column__item ugb-32d7f34-column-wrapper\"><div class=\"ugb-column__content-wrapper\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/grupoalava.rearmachine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2021\/09\/volcanpalma3-edited-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16760\" width=\"400\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/grupoalava.rearmachine.com\/en\/engineers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u00c1lava Ingenieros<\/a> installed 10 seismic stations that are part of the National Volcanic Seismic Monitoring Network, which are designed to issue alerts in the event of volcanic activity. In addition, they provide data to the National Seismic Network for the detection and localization of seismic activity throughout the country. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The stations are equipped with Radian broadband seismometers, designed for posthole and borehole deployments. They have a very wide tilt range: they can operate at virtually any angle. This capability, combined with their small diameter of just 55 mm, allows for easy ground coupling using sand, thereby eliminating the need for traditional anchors. The ultra-wide frequency response (between 120 s and 200 Hz) makes the Radian ideal for seismic monitoring at all scales.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, the Minimus digitizers function as a surface interface unit for the Radian sensor, providing access to the status of the health monitoring sensor and instruments, as well as data communication, synchronization, and storage capabilities. It is particularly useful for early warning applications, as it supports the Common Alert Protocol (CAP) for automated emergency alerts. Both devices are provided by its technology partner, G\u00fcralp.  <\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-ugb-columns ugb-columns ugb-96f6604 ugb-columns--design-plain ugb-columns--columns-2 ugb-main-block\"><div class=\"ugb-inner-block\"><div class=\"ugb-block-content\"><div class=\"ugb-columns__item ugb-96f6604-content-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-ugb-column ugb-column ugb-87ec8e1 ugb-column--design-plain ugb-main-block\"><div class=\"ugb-inner-block\"><div class=\"ugb-block-content\"><div class=\"ugb-column__item ugb-87ec8e1-column-wrapper\"><div class=\"ugb-column__content-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\"
