It operates through numerous research groups, including one that specializes in materials. This group focuses on the following areas of research:  <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Material Analysis and Characterization<\/li><li>Development of Materials for Biomedical Applications<\/li><li>Preparation and Applications of Carbonaceous Materials<\/li><li>Processing of Advanced Ceramic Materials<\/li><li>Mechanical Properties of Materials in Contact<\/li><li>Recycling, Reuse, and Waste Recovery<\/li><\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For both scientific-technical and strategic reasons, there is a need to acquire a benchtop platform for multi-test tribological and instrumented indentation testing, which <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/grupoalava.rearmachine.com\/en\/engineers\/\">\u00c1lava Ingenieros<\/a> | Grupo \u00c1lava<\/strong> will supply. It will complement the existing tribometers and mechanical testing machines. This is a multidisciplinary research tool that can be of great use to research groups in various fields of study or lines of work within the field of tribology and indentation (mechanical properties of materials).
