This March, we’re taking on the challenge We Are Equal<\/em><\/strong>, as part of the various initiatives we\u2019re carrying out under the slogan 12 Months & 12 Challenges<\/strong><\/a>. We want to highlight the significant technological advances that women are currently making in the field of science. <\/p>\n\n

Our colleague Rub\u00e9n L\u00f3pez<\/a> has conducted several interviews with women in science, all of whom are leaders and outstanding examples of innovation. Discover their stories, journeys, and achievements. <\/p>\n\n

Mar\u00eda Vi\u00f1as Pe\u00f1a<\/h3><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Mar\u00eda Vi\u00f1as Pe\u00f1a works as a postdoctoral researcher at the Visual Optics and Biophotonics Laboratory of the CSIC Institute of Optics, where she completed her doctoral dissertation (Ph.D. in Physical Sciences, UCM) after studying Optics and Optical Engineering at UCM. Mar\u00eda Luisa L\u00f3pez Garc\u00eda<\/h3><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Mar\u00eda Luisa L\u00f3pez Garc\u00eda is a Professor of Inorganic Chemistry at the Complutense University of Madrid, and she balances teaching with research, her two great passions. She is one of the most recognized authorities in her field in Spain, where she is a member of the Specialized Group on Inorganic Chemistry (GEQI) of the Royal Spanish Society of Chemistry (RSEQ). <\/p>\n\n\n\nWatch the Interview<\/a>\n\n\n\n

MAR MASULLI<\/h3><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Mar Masulli is the co-founder and CEO of BitMetrics, an artificial intelligence company founded in 2017. Ana S\u00e1nchez Amores is a technologist at the Barcelona Institute of Microelectronics (IMB), where she has worked for the past 25 years in various roles at the ICTS, the IMB-CNM\u2019s Integrated Cleanroom for Micro- and Nanomanufacturing: Head of the Dry and Wet Etching Area, Technical Deputy Director of the IMB-CNM and Head of the ICTS, and Head of the Project Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\nWatch the Interview<\/a>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
