Accurate real-time black carbon measurement for climate, environmental and emissions studies.<\/p>\n

Black carbon (BC) is one of the most relevant components of atmospheric aerosols due to its impact on climate, air quality and human health. Its origin is linked to incomplete combustion processes, such as diesel engines, biomass and industrial emissions. Accurate measurement of BC allows us to assess pollution sources, model climate effects and validate mitigation strategies. <\/p>\n

At \u00c1lava Ingenieros, we work with Droplet Measurement Technologies to offer advanced black carbon analyzers such as the SP2 (Single Particle Soot Photometer) and the PAX (Photoacoustic Extinctiometer). These instruments allow real-time measurement of mass concentration, size, optical properties and coating of BC particles, without the need for filters or sampling artifacts. <\/p>\n
