  • Bin Picking<\/strong><\/em> combining machine vision and robotics for part identification and handling: in collaboration with Pickit3D, we presented a demonstration of a bin picking<\/em> system that integrates a robot and a 3D sensor with structured light technology to identify<\/strong> and pick<\/strong> randomly arranged parts. This technology is based on computer vision algorithms<\/strong> and path planning<\/strong> to achieve accurate and efficient picking of objects in an industrial environment. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • Conveyor belt profilometry and artificial intelligence<\/strong>: Along a conveyor belt, we will showcase a series of inspections using traditional vision, 3D vision and Deep Learning<\/em> techniques. This demonstration highlights the versatility of Zebra’s software<\/em> in working with different technologies, as well as the accuracy shown in detecting<\/strong> and analyzing<\/strong> defects in parts.<\/strong> The deep learning<\/em> approach enables advanced recognition and classification of previously unknown defects with high accuracy. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • Code readers and OCR: Using<\/strong>Zebra smart cameras, we will demonstrate a code reading and optical character recognition (OCR) system supported by deep learning<\/em> technology. This solution offers exceptional reading and recognition capabilities, suitable for product<\/strong> identification<\/strong> and tracking<\/strong> applications in industrial environments. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        • Scan & Plan<\/strong> for polishing and deburring operations without robot programming: In this demonstration we present a solution that allows polishing and deburring operations to be performed on a robot without requiring manual programming<\/strong>. Scan & Plan relies on 3D vision technology and uses advanced algorithms to automatically generate<\/strong> tool paths<\/strong>, significantly simplifying the programming process and enabling high-quality finishing on complex parts. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          • Laboratory sample handling<\/strong> applications using robotics: The presented application is designed for precise sample handling in laboratory environments. This solution uses robotic arms and advanced sensors<\/strong> to automate tasks such as vial handling. Accuracy and repeatability are critical to ensure consistent laboratory results. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
