No entanto, da combina\u00e7\u00e3o de algumas das anteriores com dispositivos de imagem digital, nascem as seguintes t\u00e9cnicas de END: <span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.21px; background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);\">Termografia Ativa, <\/span><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.21px; background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);\">Video-correla\u00e7\u00e3o Digital de Imagens, <\/span><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.21px; background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);\">Shearografia, <\/span><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.21px; background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);\">Reflectografia Infravermelha e <\/span><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.21px; background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);\">Imagem qu\u00edmica.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p>Estas t\u00e9cnicas inovadoras, embora tenham um objetivo comum com os Ensaios N\u00e3o Destrutivos cl\u00e1ssicos (an\u00e1lise do estado de um objeto sem alterar as suas propriedades), introduzem como melhorias face \u00e0s anteriores a cobertura de grandes superf\u00edcies, o facto de n\u00e3o ser necess\u00e1rio existir contacto com a amostra e a pouca ou nula prepara\u00e7\u00e3o necess\u00e1ria. Combinando m\u00e9todos de excita\u00e7\u00e3o tradicionais, como os ultrassons ou as correntes de Eddy, e excita\u00e7\u00f5es t\u00e9rmicas como l\u00e2mpadas hal\u00f3genas moduladas em intensidade, ou l\u00e2mpadas flash pulsadas, com a capta\u00e7\u00e3o de radia\u00e7\u00e3o infravermelha (diretamente relacionada com o calor emitido), podemos estudar as microvaria\u00e7\u00f5es de calor superficiais provocadas por heterogeneidades presentes nas camadas de material imediatamente abaixo da superf\u00edcie externa. Essas heterogeneidades (inclus\u00f5es de ar\/\u00e1gua, falhas de colagem, delamina\u00e7\u00f5es, etc.) far\u00e3o com que o calor se dissipe de forma n\u00e3o uniforme e seja poss\u00edvel registar um mapa t\u00e9rmico proporcional que nos indique a presen\u00e7a de um defeito.  <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion-builder-column-2 deforma\u00e7\u00f5es. O objetivo desta t\u00e9cnica \u00e9 aproveitar as propriedades das ondas eletromagn\u00e9ticas do infravermelho pr\u00f3ximo e de onda curta (NIR e SWIR, pelas suas siglas em ingl\u00eas; Near InfraRed e Short Wave InfraRed) para estudar as camadas subjacentes \u00e0 superf\u00edcie externa do material. Esta t\u00e9cnica \u00e9 amplamente utilizada na ind\u00fastria aeroespacial, bem como no setor das energias renov\u00e1veis (aerogeradores), autom\u00f3vel e no desenvolvimento de novos materiais (I&#038;D). As principais vantagens da shearografia s\u00e3o a capacidade de inspe\u00e7\u00e3o de grandes \u00e1reas (at\u00e9 1 m\u00b2 por minuto), a sua relativa insensibilidade a perturba\u00e7\u00f5es ambientais e o seu bom desempenho em materiais comp\u00f3sitos com estrutura \u201choneycomb\u201d.  <\/p>\n<p>Por \u00faltimo, a<b> imagem qu\u00edmica <\/b>n\u00e3o \u00e9 mais do que a aplica\u00e7\u00e3o das t\u00e9cnicas de espectroscopia IR, mas utilizando imagens multiespectrais e hiperespectrais para obter informa\u00e7\u00e3o relativa \u00e0 composi\u00e7\u00e3o do material estudado. Dete\u00e7\u00e3o de falsifica\u00e7\u00f5es, verifica\u00e7\u00e3o da correta deposi\u00e7\u00e3o de materiais em superf\u00edcies met\u00e1licas, an\u00e1lise das percentagens dos diferentes compostos de uma amostra s\u00f3lida, etc. s\u00e3o alguns dos campos de aplica\u00e7\u00e3o mais comuns.
