We are participating in the third forum on maintenance in Industry 4.0 for the automotive sector, organized by the AEM.

Our colleagues Juan Antonio Gil and Tomás Ciudad are participating in the panel discussion titled “SCADA/ERP Systems, Their Operational Applications, and Their Actual Impact on Maintenance,” moderated by Antonio Ros.

The digitization of all technical processes—and industrial processes in particular—has reached high levels of adoption, with production plants achieving rates close to 100%. Although the automotive industry sets many of the benchmarks, the various technologies and management strategies are evolving in a cross-cutting manner that—with the customizations specific to each activity or sector—makes them applicable to any technologically advanced process where productivity, quality, and competitiveness are essential. The reality is that we are in the midst of a highly dynamic situation with widely varying degrees of implementation, depending on the needs and resources available in each case.

This 3rd FORUM focuses on highlighting real-world applications across key sectors, through which digitization is impacting maintenance. It also features discussions on operational aspects of modern industry in general. We have no doubt that the program we’ve selected is very appealing, and we are confident that it will be led by experts in each field. We look forward to seeing you at the IQS facilities in Barcelona on December 4.
