“Transport and packaging testing” is a generic term used to describe all tests that subject the final product or its components to the conditions they may encounter from the end of the manufacturing process to their final destination.
Transport and packaging tests include extreme temperature tests (temperatures inside transport vehicles can reach extremely high or low levels), vibration tests, (truck, ship, plane), drop tests with packaging (accidents during the handling of boxes), and compression tests with packaging (stacking of boxes).
It is also important to collect and analyze data during shipments so that we can design our own transport and packaging tests and evaluate the results after making improvements to the packaging or products.
