Description
Zebra Rapixo CXP is a new generation of frame grabbers compatible with version 2.0 of the CoaXPress® (CXP) digital interface standard for machine vision applications.
The samplers have one, two or four connections to connect to independent cameras and have sufficient built-in internal memory to temporarily store incoming image data in situations where the host computer is temporarily unable to accept data. In addition, the fanless design of some models ensures long maintenance-free use.
Matrox Rapixo CXP also supports data rates up to 6.25 Gbps (CXP-6) or higher speed up to 12.5 Gbps (CXP-12) with aggregated connections. It also uses high-density BNC connectors that allow seamless interconnection with new cameras and the PCIe® host interface to comfortably accommodate the maximum input bandwidth of the CXP links.
Support for power through the press (PoCXP) at each connection simplifies system configurations.
It uses an FPGA device from the Xilinx Kintex® UltraScale™ family in the Matrox Rapixo CXP Pro model, providing a range of solutions tailored to a given application. Operations performed on the board itself are controlled through Matrox development software (MIL).
