LIVE DEMOS

  • Bin Picking combining machine vision and robotics for part identification and handling: in collaboration with Pickit3D, we presented a demonstration of a bin picking system that integrates a robot and a 3D sensor with structured light technology to identify and pick randomly arranged parts. This technology is based on computer vision algorithms and path planning to achieve accurate and efficient picking of objects in an industrial environment.
  • Conveyor belt profilometry and artificial intelligence: Along a conveyor belt, we will showcase a series of inspections using traditional vision, 3D vision and Deep Learning techniques. This demonstration highlights the versatility of Zebra’s software in working with different technologies, as well as the accuracy shown in detecting and analyzing defects in parts. The deep learning approach enables advanced recognition and classification of previously unknown defects with high accuracy.
  • Code readers and OCR: Using Zebra smart cameras, we will demonstrate a code-reading and optical character recognition (OCR) system powered by deep learning technology. This solution offers exceptional reading and recognition capabilities, making it ideal for product identification and tracking applications in industrial settings.
  • AIMEN’s Didactic Factory. A portable and flexible robotic system for plasma cutting operations in confined spaces. This solution is designed to assist operators in performing cutting tasks inside a ship’s double bottom in non-ergonomic positions.
