Preditec/IRM presents its line of vibration sensors for use in high-temperature environments.

The most commonly used vibration sensors in machines with bearings are accelerometers; the maximum operating temperature for standard models is 120°C, but even if we install these sensors in machines operating near this temperature, the service life of the accelerometers is significantly reduced. For this reason, Preditec/IRM offers special high-temperature sensors, marked with the letters HT (High Temperature). The price of high-temperature sensors increases exponentially with the maximum temperature they can withstand; therefore, the following models have been established:

  • PRE1010MS (std.): up to 120°C
  • PRE1010MS-HT140: up to 140°C
  • PRE1010MS-HT162: up to 162°C
  • PRE1010MS-HT250: up to 250°C
  • PRE1010MS-HT260: up to 260°C
  • PRE1010MS-HT325: up to 325°C
  • PRE1010MS-HT482: up to 482°C
  • PRE1010MS-HT649: up to 649°C

High-temperature sensors are used in hot-gas air blowers, hot-fluid pumps, steam or gas turbines, the drying section of paper-making machines, etc.
