The Basler ace 2 series offers the latest SONY IMX sensors at a very competitive price (ace 2 BASIC) and integrates advanced functionalities in the firmware such as image compression and PGI (ace 2 PRO). The Basler ace 2 series is the evolution of the successful Basler ace series, the largest, most competitive and best-selling industrial processing camera series on the market.

This series adapts to the new vision needs demanded by the market, increasingly complex and for more critical applications, offering excellent image quality thanks to Sony’s latest generation CMOS sensor technology, improved firmware and hardware with GigE or USB 3.0 interface, as well as compatibility with the full range of Basler accessories.

To this end, the Basler ace 2 series offers two product lines to suit the different vision needs of each customer, so that you only pay for the features you really need:

Basler ace 2 Basic is designed to achieve unbeatable performance for standard machine vision applications thanks to optimized hardware that complies with Sony’s CMOS sensor technology;

Basler ace 2 Pro is designed for very demanding viewing needs in peak performance environments thanks to its advanced firmware features (Compression Beyond for higher GIgE bandwidth, lossless compression and PGI) and the ability to redesign sensor characteristics and individually adjust pixel size thanks to Pixel Beyond technology.
