The platform that helps you manage your assets in accordance with ISO 55000 is called the Kipula Asset Management Advanced Tool.

Drawing on the knowledge and professional experience of its development team, Kipula is a powerful software tool designed to manage the lifecycle activities of physical assets in an industrial process or infrastructure, in compliance with the 28 requirements of the PAS55-2008 standard. Its objectives are:

Eliminate gaps in information flow by providing executives with all relevant information about physical assets needed to make strategic decisions related to business continuity.
Provide all levels of management with a single, user-friendly, and integrated tool.

INNOVATIVE INTEGRATION CONCEPT

It integrates, using a “layered” model, the information components necessary to carry out advanced, optimized, and effective management of the physical assets of a production process.

All data entities—from the most basic, where technical considerations take precedence over economic ones, to the most complex, where the “gross figure” is what really matters—are intertwined, and the traceability of these data entities is one aspect of this networked structure. This ensures that data is entered only once and is automatically transmitted through the various layers of information.

Prioritization of Life Cycle Activities. Criticality analysis is at the heart of Kipula. It serves as the starting point for defining an optimized management strategy and for future RCM analysis. The impact on business continuity (availability, cost, legal noncompliance, etc.) caused by an asset failure and the probability of that failure occurring are the factors evaluated to calculate an asset’s criticality.

With just one click, the app lets you:

  • Analyze cumulative costs (operating, maintenance, unreliability, and energy) and compare them over the life cycle of an asset.
  • Track the expenses associated with assets and compare them to the annual budgeted amount (OPEX and CAPEX).
  • Understand the actual condition and technical risk associated with each physical asset.
  • Short-, medium-, and long-term outlook for a physical asset. Taking into account the application’s ultimate goal, Kipula enables users to project medium- and long-term expenses, technically supported by a condition analysis, which allows for optimal risk management, the achievement of the best results, and the optimization of the organization’s financial resources.
  • Current Economic Outlook: Kipula features a budget modeler that takes into account all revenue streams from activities related to an asset’s life cycle, with a time horizon aligned with the short- and medium-term outlook.

These advanced tools for physical asset management include advanced management tools such as RCM, RCA, and LCCA, whose ultimate goal is continuous improvement, allowing users to gain a deeper understanding of their assets and establish specific improvement and monitoring plans for each asset.

Kipula also includes a document management system featuring a powerful yet easy-to-use search tool, allowing users to access and view—from any module—repair reports, condition assessment reports, operation and maintenance manuals, or any other type of document created by the application user for each asset.

Integration with other information systems. The system is preconfigured for integration into the corporate management model, allowing it to exchange information with other software applications: Maximo, SAP, …
