Statement from Grupo Álava: Measures Implemented in Response to the COVID-19 Coronavirus

Grupo Álava has implemented a series of extraordinary measures for all companies within the Group in response to the situation caused by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, with the aim of protecting the health of our employees and ensuring the continuity and sustainability of our business. The measures taken are in accordance with the state of alert declared by the Spanish government and the guidelines issued by the WHO. The main measures are:

• We work from home whenever our work allows it.
• Only trips deemed essential will be made.
• A dedicated internal communication channel has been created for employees.
• We have implemented strict hygiene and cleaning measures at our workplaces.
• We are continuing all operations and activities that do not require physical presence by using all available online resources.
• We have replaced in-person visits and meetings with video conferences and have postponed all in-person events except those deemed critical.
• We have asked all our suppliers to provide their business continuity plans so that we can ensure that supplies and services continue as usual.

*Given the circumstances, these measures will be adapted to any new needs and/or requirements that may arise.
