Learn how to use the Osisoft® PI to store vibration data from Setpoint®

In the following tutorial, you can see how the SETPOINT monitoring system can be used to send vibration data (including waveforms) to the Osisoft PI System, eliminating the need for standalone vibration software without sacrificing the vibration analysis capabilities required to diagnose faults in rotating machinery. We’ll explain how this “high-speed” information can be mapped to PI tags, how the system conserves storage and bandwidth by borrowing concepts from video streaming, and, finally, how the system allows users to view this information in specialized formats for vibration analysis.
