The 9th Forum Comes to a Close

On October 26 and 27, the 9th Forum on Reliability and Predictive Maintenance in Industry 4.0 was held at DFactory Barcelona.

Now firmly established as a leading event in the world of predictive maintenance, Preditec | Grupo Álava, in collaboration with Leitat, would like to thank everyone who helped make this year’s event another success.

About a hundred attendees had the opportunity to exchange knowledge, listen to 12 presentations on professionals’ experiences, participate in a roundtable discussion, and conclude with a training session. View the agenda.

Preditec, a company belonging to the Álava Group, brought together a multi-sector audience in Barcelona.

Previous forums had already foreshadowed a smart future, but at this ninth edition, we had the opportunity to hear success stories where digital transformation is key.

The audience selected the following speakers as the winners of the 9th Forum:

First prize went to Dr. Eduardo Garcia Magraner of FORD
for his presentation: “Smart Predictive Miniterms: Advancements in Big Data, AI, and IoT.”

Second prize goes to Francisco Lamas, PhD, of the Spanish Navy
for his presentation: “Implementation on Spanish Navy Ships of an Intelligent and Decentralized System for Classifying Mechanical Events.”

Third prize goes to Rafael Conget de Goma Camps
for his presentation: “RCM- and TPM-Based Maintenance Plan Supported by a CMMS in the Paper Industry: The Influence of Predictive Maintenance.”
