Grupo Álava and Dewesoft are partnering with the best engineers of the future for Summer Camp 2026
Grupo Álava, in line with its strong commitment to talent and innovation, will participate for the third year in the Dewesoft Summer Camp 2026, an educational and professional experience that goes beyond any conventional training program. From August 2–8, 2026, Dewesoft’s headquarters in Trbovlje, Slovenia, will become the epicenter of engineering, bringing together Europe’s brightest STEM students.
This is not a traditional summer camp. It’s a total immersion in the real world of engineering, where participants—guided by Dewesoft experts and supported and mentored by the team at Grupo Álava, will tackle technical, business, and marketing challenges in a competitive format.
A week of innovation, competition, and hands-on learning
The Dewesoft Summer Camp is a unique opportunity for undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students to put their skills to the test.
Over the course of five intensive days, participants will work in teams to solve real-world measurement problems, applying theory to practical projects ranging from the automotive industry to acoustics and structural analysis.
The program is designed to teach students how to collect data, process signals, and draw meaningful conclusions, all while competing in a dynamic and collaborative environment that fosters creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving under pressure.
The selection process sought out the most motivated students. Applicants were not only required to be enrolled in a STEM degree program, but also had to demonstrate their commitment by completing at least 10 Dewesoft online training courses and submitting a case study or application note in which they used the company’s equipment.
What does the Summer Camp include?
- Hands-on training Intensive hands-on training taught by expert engineers.
- Accommodations, breakfasts, lunches, and snacks in an exceptional setting (Participants are responsible for their own transportation costs to Slovenia).
- All the Dewesoft professional from Dewesoft needed to tackle these challenges.
- Activities for team-building, challenges, and an unforgettable experience.
