Grupo Álava promotes modular cleanroom solutions for controlled production and research environments

Enrique Latorre, a specialist at Grupo Álava, presents a flexible, certified solution that enables companies and institutions to set up controlled environments in just two weeks.

More and more industrial and scientific sectors require workspaces with strictly controlled environmental conditions. Manufacturing, packaging, research, teaching, and product development are just a few of the areas in which the presence of particles, temperature, or air pressure can compromise the quality of the process or the final result. Grupo Álava offers a modular cleanroom solution that combines rapid implementation, regulatory compliance, and adaptability to each client’s needs.

“Many organizations require ISO Class 7 environments for their critical processes, and the traditional barrier has always been the time and complexity involved in installation. With this solution, we can completely change that perception,” explains Enrique Latorre of Grupo Álava.

Two options for every need

The offering includes two main types. On the one hand, the hardwall cleanroom, with a lacquered steel frame and PETg panels, designed for permanent installations that require greater airtightness and control. On the other hand, there is the softwall cleanroom, which is mobile thanks to its wheeled system and is ideal for environments that require flexibility in space layout or that anticipate future growth through expansion modules.

Both models meet the ISO Class 7 classification according to ISO 14644-1, feature H13 HEPA filters, LED lighting with an intensity of over 500 lux, and a variable-speed controller, thereby meeting the standard requirements of a wide variety of industries and applications.

Turnkey Installation and Validation

One of the most highly valued aspects is the availability of a comprehensive installation and validation service. “At Grupo Álava, we can manage the project from start to finish: from defining the space to validation in accordance with ISO 14644-1:2015, including particle count reports and airflow readings,” says Latorre. The standard turnaround time is just two weeks, and installation is carried out by qualified engineers over two consecutive days.

In addition, an after-sales service contract is offered that includes an extended warranty, 24/7 phone support, and two annual maintenance visits with periodic validation, ensuring continuity and regulatory compliance over time.

A scalable and customizable solution

The product line also includes additional options such as raised floors approved for cleanrooms, conduits with electrical outlets and RJ45 connectivity, material transfer locks, and, in the case of the hardwall model, a changing area separated from the production area by a dividing curtain.

For projects with specific requirements that fall outside the standard models, Grupo Álava has the capacity to develop fully customized solutions, tailored to regulations, available space, and each organization’s processes.
