Last week, the ITC Level I Certified Thermography Course was held as an introduction to the concept of infrared thermography.
Taught by Rafael Royo Pastor (Professor at the Polytechnic University of Valencia) at the Grupo Álava offices in Madrid, the ITC Level I Certified Thermography Course aimed to introduce infrared thermography to beginners.
Infrared technology has numerous applications. Thanks to this course, the students—including Juan Gavira, Víctor Franco, Raúl Gámez, and Miguel Ángel Simarro—have learned the basic principles of infrared thermography. They have also learned how to use thermal imaging cameras under different conditions and for various applications, how to properly assess measurement situations in the field, how to identify potential sources of error, and how to prepare thermal imaging reports.
In particular, our colleague Miguel Angel Simarro (Predictive Maintenance Engineer at Preditec) tells us: “What I liked most about the course is that we had the opportunity to practice with multiple models of thermal imaging cameras. Thanks to the demonstrations conducted in class, we’ve reinforced the theoretical concepts.”
We would like to thank everyone who attended this course and invite you to learn more about infrared technology. Please contact us—we’d be happy to help you.
