Preditec/IRM presents its extensive line of vibration sensors for predictive machinery monitoring.
There are different types of vibration detectors (or vibration meters):
• Vibrometers. These are handheld devices that measure the overall vibration level, although some include additional features.
• Vibration transmitters. These are vibration sensors with a DC output (4–20 mA) designed to connect to PLCs and monitor machinery via the Distributed Control System (DCS).
• Vibration monitors. These are devices used to protect and monitor vibration in critical machinery.
• Accelerometers. These are vibration sensors that measure vibration acceleration for analysis using vibration analyzers or advanced continuous monitoring systems.
