Course on Vibration Analysis in Wind Turbines at IEP

Our vibration analyst, Jesús Puebla, will be leading a course from June 15 to 17 in Porto.

This course is designed for technicians involved in predictive maintenance programs for wind turbine vibrations who, in the course of their work, need to know the best way to measure vibrations and how to feed their predictive diagnostic systems with high-quality data.
The course is divided into two parts: the first focuses on fault diagnosis through vibration measurement and analysis, and the second applies the knowledge gained to typical cases involving wind turbines.
This course is ideal both for technicians with no prior experience who want to get started with vibration analysis techniques and for maintenance personnel who need to interpret reports generated using this technique.
After completing this course, students will have mastered the technique and will be able to perform machine diagnostics using basic knowledge of measurement configuration.
Furthermore, knowing the condition of the turbines will allow you to plan maintenance based on the severity of each failure and the wind forecast, thereby reducing the costs associated with maintenance operations.
The course will be conducted by IEP—Instituto Eletrotécnico Português —in collaboration with PREDITEC of the Alava Group, specialists in predictive maintenance.
