CGE06

The CGE06 is a compact and portable broadband comb reference source that generates stable signals from 915 MHz to 40 GHz.

Description

The CGE06 is a broadband comb generator that functions as a reference source to produce a frequency spectrum from 915 MHz to 40 GHz. This device is compact and can be powered either with a power adapter or independently with a battery (PPU01), minimizing the effects of cabling when characterizing electromagnetic environments.

Its design includes a metal housing that allows mounting in direct contact with a ground plane, and its comb signal facilitates the simultaneous display of reference and noise floor levels, which aids in dynamic range measurements. Equipped with a 2.92 mm output connector, it can be fitted with an antenna to generate radiated E-fields, making it the ideal reference source for verifications in anechoic and semi-anechoic chambers.

General Characteristics
  • Output from 915 MHz to 40 GHz: Covers a very wide broadband spectrum.

  • Stable output and repeatable measurements.
  • Selectable comb frequency: Offers flexibility with two modes of operation (915 MHz or 1 GHz steps).
  • Compact and portable design: Dimensions 56 x 17.5 x 72 mm.
  • Dual power supply: Can be used with the PPU01 battery to avoid cable interference or with a power adapter for continuous use.
