Ultrasonic lubrication is a technique that is not yet widely used in industry but is being successfully implemented in industrial plants around the world.
Proper lubrication of bearings helps minimize the risk of failure in rotating equipment.
Studies conducted by leading bearing manufacturers (SKF, FAG, etc.) indicate that at least 50% of bearings are replaced prematurely due to poor lubrication. It is also said that 80% of mechanical failures are caused by lubrication defects (incorrect choice of lubricant, lack of lubrication, over-lubrication, contamination, etc.) and that only 10% of bearings reach their expected service life.
