European Lidar Conference (ELC) 2021

Grupo Álava will participate in the third edition of the European Lidar Conference (ELC), which will take place from the 16th to the 18th in Granada, Spain, hosted by the University of Granada, in a hybrid format.

This is a forum where all European groups active in lidar research come together to network, establish new collaborations, and exchange ideas, thereby enriching their knowledge and creating synergies that lead to improvements in the efficiency and quality of their processes.

Our colleague from Álava Ingenieros, Enrique Latorre, will be at Booth 6 with a Micro Pulse LiDAR (MPL) model from our partner Droplet, which improves weather forecasts, monitors air quality, and enhances air traffic control safety. Droplet is a trusted provider of remote atmospheric monitoring. This sophisticated laser remote sensing system provides real-time data and uses the most advanced single-photon detectors, the same ones trusted by NASA. It enables faster and more accurate decision-making based on reliable information from MPL’s continuous and autonomous monitoring.
