The Handling of Automation Scenarios

Machine learning is an AI technique that enables the creation of intelligent systems based on data to automate processes and devices, and it is one of the industry’s major goals.

The processes that can be defined for automation include identifying the problem to be solved, collecting and processing data, selecting AI algorithms for decision-making, and, finally, verification and validation.

There are many different scenarios to address in order to achieve automation. To tackle these scenarios, we must know how to select the best instrumentation—the sensor or set of sensors that provide us with the most discriminating information—and, once the datasets have been created, how to select AI algorithms tailored to each scenario for decision-making.
