PROJECT OBJECTIVE

Continuous monitoring of any atmospheric condition

In order to comply with current regulations on environmental noise monitoring and control, the City Council of Albacete (175,000 inhabitants, Spain) launched a public tender for the supply of two continuous noise monitors.

The solution consisted of a system consisting of two monitors capable of accurate measurements in any atmospheric condition.

How we made it happen

Approval of acoustic instrumentation

Unlike other systems, the equipment allowed remote, real-time visualization of acoustic measurements, which were sent directly to the City Hall control center for analysis and recording. The results were available at any time and from any location thanks to their wireless connectivity.

In order to comply with current regulations on the state metrological control of instruments used to measure audible sound levels, the equipment was approved by the Spanish Metrology Center (CEM), the primary reference laboratory in Spain.
