Preditec introduces the new industry standard for vibration critical machinery protection that complies with API670 5th Edition.

Preditec/IRM introduces SETPOINT to simplify to the limit the protection, monitoring and diagnostics of critical machinery.

Most API670 (5th Edition) protection systems in use are configured to provide a very simple function: triggering by overall vibration level, by axial position or by bearing temperature. While this function is simple, the configuration required in monitoring systems is often quite the opposite, of enormous complexity. A user may be faced with a dozen or more alarm settings for each channel, requiring a bewildering array of configuration options. In fact, they may have given up because of the complexity of setting up and maintaining the system, leaving a service contract with the instrumentation manufacturer as the only viable alternative to making the protection and monitoring systems truly effective.

SETPOINT takes a different approach, with a focus on simplicity. This does not mean that functionality is reduced. The SETPOINT system is easy to use, easy to configure, easy to connect and easy to maintain.

In addition, SETPOINT offers direct integration into OSIsoft PI.
