Contact sensor RS1

The RS1 contact sensor is designed to make accurate measurements of ultrasonic waves transmitted by structures. The design of this sensor required a large investment in research to achieve this robust probe that achieves repeatable measurements.

The primary use of this sensor is mechanical data collection, but its use extends beyond that, from bearings to steam traps, pneumatic elements and much more .

 

RS1T threaded sensor

The RS1T threaded sensor is a resonant sensor designed to make accurate measurements on structures that generate ultrasonic waves in permanently mounted applications. The design of this sensor required a large investment in research to achieve this robust probe that achieves repeatable measurements.

This probe connects to the acoustic lubrication adapter for condition-based relubrication of bearings. Mounting bases are available for bonding to surfaces where drilling is not permitted. Flat magnetic bases and bases for curved surfaces are also available, making the RS1 threaded sensor the most versatile ultrasonic probe in the ultrasonic world.

 

 

 

 

Flexible sensor

The flexible sensor protects inspectors while performing inspections of compressed air lines, electrical panels, steam systems and mechanical components. Its flexible design can be bent and shaped to fit any shape and access into tight spaces, making it the ideal sensor for inspections with the sensor in close proximity to the ultrasonic source.

Use this sensor to find compressed air leaks, inspect electrical cabinets, examine vehicle wind noise and water leaks, close hatches, check belts, couplings and chain transmitters. Available in two lengths with a replaceable sensor, it is the most popular sensor.

 

 

ParaDish2 Parabolic Ultrasonic Sensor

Working in conjunction with the SDT270 and SDT200 devices, ParaDish2 is a parabolic ultrasonic sensor designed to detect and identify ultrasound at a distance (5 to 100 meters).

With unmatched sensitivity, it is directly coupled with the precision optical sighting scope and integrated laser pointer, making it a very practical tool for leak detection and partial discharge location campaigns.

ABS resistant, the sensor is lightweight and easy to carry thanks to its folding arm and handle.

It is also available with ATEX certification (Directive 94/9/EC).

 

 

EDS2 cone, extended distance

Provided with a thread, this accessory can be attached to the internal sensor of the SDT270 and SDT200 detectors, allowing better detection at distances of up to ten meters with good accuracy.

The EDS2 combines design and functionality to solve the problems of remote inspections. Its design has been optimized to be effective only at the specific ultrasonic frequencies of interest. Airborne ultrasonic detection is now possible from up to 10 times the normal distance of ordinary airborne sensors.

The EDS2 detects direct and reflected ultrasound. It is very directional, however the parabolic sensor with laser sighting allows more accurate targeting of the source and is effective from greater distances.

 

Lubricator adapter

The ultrasonic adapter for SDT lubrication control is an accessory intended to be used in conjunction with the RS1T sensor, coupled to it to listen to the ultrasonic noises produced by the bearings during greasing.

Connected to the contact probe and attached to the top of the lubrication pump, this adapter allows the level of lubrication efficiency to be monitored in real time.

It is equipped with standard thread: male and female 1/8 ” BSP.

These noise-isolating headphones allow you to work in environments with noise up to 130 dBA. They drastically reduce the perception of background noise, allowing you to focus on the sounds you need to hear. Depending on your needs, it is available in three versions:

Headband (with foldable headband for easy storage)
Neckband (for situations where headband is not possible, for use with or without helmet)
Safety helmet attached.
