- Introduction. Maintenance strategies and predictive techniques.
- Fundamentals of vibration. Trends, spectra, waveforms and phase.
- Fault diagnosis: unbalance, misalignment, clearances, faults in belts, bearings, gears, resonance, etc.
- Fundamental concepts of thermography
- Fundamental concepts of thermography. Electromagnetic radiation. Heat transfer. Energy of the thermographic image. Transmissivity. Radiometry. Infrared imaging systems. Windows and filters. Limitations of the technique.
- Practical: Case resolution, configuration and fault frequency detection.
- Thermographic analysis techniques.
- Thermographic inspection report generation. What to measure, how to measure and when to measure. Interpretation of thermographic images and fault diagnosis. Uses of diagnostic tools.
