If you are a Level I/Category I certified thermographer and are ready to delve deeper into the world of infrared imaging and inspections, the Level II/Category II certification will provide you with the practical inspection knowledge needed to enhance your thermography skills.
Based on established ISO 18436-7 and ASNT CP-105 guidelines, the Level II/Category II certification course curriculum will provide a comprehensive review of the fundamental subjects to succeed as a Level II/Category II thermographer.
Regulations
These ITC certifications comply with ISO 17024 and ISO 18436 (Condition monitoring and diagnostics of machines – Requirements for training and certification of personnel). Applicable parts include ISO 18436-1 (International Standard – Requirements for certification bodies and the certification process), ISO 18436-3 (Requirements for training bodies and the training process) and ISO 18436-7 (Thermography).
Álava Ingenieros as a LTC (Licensed Traning Center) offers a wide variety of training courses, from basic to advanced courses. The certifications granted by the ITC are internationally recognized and valid and are designed to exceed international standard thermographic requirements.
Objectives
Learn issues related to infrared thermography that will allow you to deepen and broaden your knowledge of infrared physics, heat, infrared radiation measurement equipment and its application. As a Level II thermographer, guide Category 1 personnel in areas of equipment selection, techniques, limitations, data analysis, corrective actions and reporting.
Addressed to:
The ITC Level II certified infrared thermography course is specially designed for professionals in the field of thermography with Level I certification who are interested in more advanced training.
Training development:
The course will be developed in 5 days, 4 full days, from Monday to Thursday, from 09:00 to 18:00, with a lunch break at 14:00, and the fifth day, Friday from 09:00 to 15:00. On the fifth day, there will be a review of all the content and the certification test will be carried out.
The class includes exercises and our teachers work with images, drawings and simple diagrams to illustrate the theory in a descriptive way.
*It is recommended that students have thermographic equipment as well as the corresponding image processing software.
