RFAII-R™ & RFAII-S™.

The RFAII-R and RFAII-S are portable devices for collecting and analyzing magnetic flux data from any flux probe in real time, providing the user with data on shorted turns of the rotor winding.

  • Rugged handheld instrument with USB and Ethernet interfaces
  • Customized ultra-high resolution digital data acquisition module featuring integrated switched attenuation for maximum resolution measurements using virtually any flow probe
  • High-speed acquisition capability creates a results table covering every pole and every load point
  • Deep memory for complete and accurate data collection, e.g. capable of storing more than 150 flow waveforms
  • Can be synchronized to a power frequency signal or ideally to an external shaft synchronization signal so that shorted poles can be located
  • The software can be installed on any Windows computer. The software also ensures data storage and provides instant analysis of the results. There is a clear indication of the presence and location (assuming shaft synchronization is installed) of any poles with shorted turns.
