Slot couplers for stator

Sensors installed in the stator slots to detect partial discharge activity.

  • Permanently installed under the end stator winding wedges (on existing machines) or between the top and bottom bars (on new machines or rewinders)
  • They are not connected to the high voltage winding and are not subjected to high electrical voltages.
  • Manufactured in epoxy glass laminate, NEMA FR4 (class F)
  • 10-1000 MHz bandwidth (3 dB cut-off)
  • 50 Ω impedance
  • Double output to distinguish the slots of partial discharges on the winding winding head
  • 2.0 mm thick, width cut to fit into stator slot, length adjustable to 53 cm (17.5 in.)
