Intrinsically safe compact thermal camera

The Hikmicro Bx series is certified for temperature measurement in a wide range of explosive environments to quickly detect hidden faults. It is equipped with a thermal detector with a resolution of 256 × 192 and a 2-megapixel visual camera.

The temperature range is between -20 °C and 550 °C (-4 °F and 1022 °F), which covers most situations. It helps personnel quickly locate faults based on precise temperature measurements of high-temperature targets in the environment. At the same time, it supports decision-making and ensures safety.

Not only has HIKMICRO’s BX20 thermal camera obtained ATEX and IECEx certification. In addition, HIKMICRO is an audited manufacturer of equipment for hazardous areas and holds the ATEX Quality Assurance Notice (QAN) and the IECEx Quality Assurance Report (QAR).

Main characteristics:

High image quality: Features a high-resolution VOx detector (256 × 192, 49,152 pixels) and high sensitivity (NETD < 40 mK), combined with HIKMICRO’s SuperIR image enhancement algorithms to deliver crystal-clear thermal images.
Enhanced thermal clarity with SuperIR* technology: Thanks to HIKMICRO’s SuperIR image enhancement technology, the resolution of captured thermal images increases to 320 x 240 (76,800 pixels). (*SuperIR applies only to captured thermal images)
25 Hz high frame rate: The 25 Hz high frame rate ensures smooth video playback when panning or viewing moving subjects.
Comprehensive and accurate full-screen measurement: Makes it easy to capture full-screen radiometric images and automatically tracks maximum, minimum, and center points to identify temperature anomalies at a glance. Accurately measures temperatures from -20 °C to 550 °C, with an accuracy of up to ±2 °C or ±2% of the reading.
