The Fixturlaser Runout Probe is a battery-powered measuring probe that connects wirelessly via Bluetooth to the Fixturlaser NXA display unit.

The Fixturlaser Runout probe can be used for operations such as:

  • Checks for axial and radial misalignment in flanges
  • Checking for movement in the machine legs (wobbly leg)
  • Vertical deviation check
  • Checking for movement caused by pipe stress
  • Thermal expansion in machine structures
  • Eccentric or asymmetrical mounting of coupling components
  • Inspection of shafts and bearings

The Fixturlaser Runout Probe is an LVDT sensor with a measurement range of ±2.5 mm and high precision (within 0.001 mm). The measuring sensor and its battery are encapsulated and have an IP65 sealing rating that resists coolant and oil. The built-in battery charges via a micro USB connector and has an operating time of 11 hours. The battery case contains built-in magnets that allow the device to be easily attached to the measuring stand.
